EUROFISH has extensive experience in disseminating information of the fisheries and aquaculture industries. EUROFISH has been the main dissemination and networking partner for various large EU research projects and has also been instrumental in promoting various industry players through the EUROFISH Magazine, one of the best known brands in the fisheries media world.
Since many of the EUROFISH projects include dissemination activities, this section focuses only on projects that are specifically aimed at disseminating information, whereas more complex projects (which may contain elements of dissemination) have been presented under the other categories of project activities.
In addition, EUROFISH has long standing experience in the organisation of events and conferences, which have managed to attract participants from the whole spectrum of the fisheries and aquaculture industry.
To cerate synergies with the training activities in seafood safety and quality assurance, EUROFISH has developed several guides to support the industry in understanding and applying seafood management principles, as well as meeting market requirements.
EUROFISH is part of the Fish InfoNetwork (FIN) network which was initiated by FAO-GLOBEFISH. This enables EUROFISH to reach industry stakeholders in every corner of the world.
